Yum Cha Cuisine is one of the finest Chinese restaurants in Westfield Carindale, serving traditional dishes with an elegant taste. The challenge for the restaurant was how to increase customer awareness and promote their new buffet offering.

The Challenge of reaching new audiences on online channels.

Yum Cha Cuisine barely did any online marketing, making it difficult for them to reach new customers or inform regular customers of menu updates. Additionally, they wanted to promote their new buffet offering to attract more customers to the restaurant.

Glaxier believes that running advertisements at the proper moment is one approach to boost sales.

Glaxier helped Yum Cha Cuisine by creating advertising campaigns on Facebook, targeting people in the area who were likely to dine out. We also sent out menu updates and promotions to regular customers to keep the restaurant top-of-mind. The ads were run during prime-time only, before lunch and dinner, to reach the largest potential viewing audiences of the day. Additionally, we targeted people within close proximity to the restaurant to ensure that advertising budget was not wasted on irrelevant people.

Every month, more than 90 table reservations are made.

The Yum Cha Cuisine received more than 90 table reservations monthly from the Facebook ads and an increase in walk-ins. The return on investment for the ads was worth it as we reached 110000 people, 2000 people clicked on the ads to find out more about the restaurant and whereabouts, over 100 comments, tags and questions on the ads, over 200 people contacted to find out more about the deals and book a table.

The number of bookings can be significantly enhanced following a Facebook advertising campaign.

The advertising campaign on Facebook was successful in increasing customer awareness for Yum Cha Cuisine and promoting their new buffet offering. The targeted approach to reach potential customers in the area and regular customers resulted in a significant increase in table reservations and overall revenue for the restaurant.
